Postpartum Doula
I am a native New Yorker and Bolivian American.I completed high school in Bolivia, where I discovered my calling to work with infants while volunteering during my junior year at an infant orphanage in 2011. After moving back to New York, I became a nanny and newborn care specialist supporting many families with children from the newborn stage through two years of age with a Montessori and Gentle parenting approach.
Working as a nanny/NCS gave me a deep understanding of parenthood and the realities of day-to-day life with a baby. This experience has shaped how I guide parents through their own postpartum journey with compassion, practicality, and confidence.
As a Postpartum Doula my work focuses on helping parents rest, recover, and feel confident as they transition into life with a new baby. I provide lactation support as a certified breast counselor and take a hands-on approach by teaching soothing techniques, swaddling, and essential newborn care. My goal is to empower parents by giving them the tools and knowledge they need to feel confident doing it themselves.
I approach every family with respect, compassion, and evidence based care tailored to their unique needs. Postpartum is a deeply transformative time in a person’s life. I am here to support, guide, and hold space for you during this powerful transition.
